Who is behind
Piece of Oregon?

Founder, Owner, & Operator

Hey y'all I'm Mandie! I was born in small town Silverton, Oregon. I had a very fortunate childhood growing up on a 40+ acre farm exploring wide open fields, star gazing with no light pollution, trekking through the dense forests, hiking behind waterfalls, beach combing the pacific coastline, and taking in every texture and scent Oregon has to offer.

Most of my young adult years were spent building personality in Texas after my mom married and moved us cross country. It was tough at first but I picked up lots of friends and maybe a little bit of an accent over the years. Home to me was still Oregon no matter how much I loved being in Texas. Spending summers at the farm, heading to the beach for day trips, and camping out under the stars. Nothing beat the fresh air and freedom I felt coming home.

My family decided to move back to the farm with my grandparents while I chose to stay behind to finish High School. Friends took me in with open arms and I continued to learn and grow into the person I am today. If it wasn't for my charming husband making it too hard to return to Texas, I would probably still be there. He brought me back to my roots and together we built a life more beautiful than I could have ever hoped for.

I hope you love what I do as much as I love creating. I can't wait to continue to learn and grow doing what inspires me most!

The vision is to share Oregon inspired, handcrafted pieces that are just as effortlessly beautiful as nature. In every piece you will notice either a statement or a subtle inspiration of the Oregon outdoors shinning through.

Some items may be all new material, some materials are repurposed thrifts, and some are wildly foraged or photographed. As most handmade items, my work is not perfect, but nature is not perfect either and yet it continues to grow and become more beautiful with time. Each piece is carefully thought through and is meant to add some joy to your surroundings no matter where you are.
